Am I allowed to provide song selections prior to an event? Can my guests request songs during an event?

Yes! Your event is entirely about how you envision it, and not about what the DJ wants to hear. Your Event Coordinator will provide worksheets to make selecting songs simple as well as song suggestions to help you make those choices. Guests can request songs from the DJ, who is always aware of your requested play lists and most importantly, your “Do Not Play” lists.

Am I required to use Vision for all their offered services or can I select certain services?

Every client has a unique vision and each event should perfectly represent that originality. Hence, we offer “a la carte” and “package” options for all of our services to include as little and as much as each individual client wishes. Catering to specific needs and budgets, these options are simply the foundations for a personalized selection of event and entertainment services.

Can I meet the DJ before booking an event?

Yes, we encourage our clients to meet the DJ and Emcee prior to booking their event and your Event Coordinator can provide an array of video and audio demos, photos, and more to make you feel as comfortable as possible with your entertainment team.

Do you have a backup plan in case your entertainment is unavailable the day of an event?

Absolutely, should there be any problem, we always have back up equipment as well as entertainers we can bring in on short notice. Your Event Coordinator is trained to handle all emergency situations in the most professional, efficient, and swiftest manner.

Does Vision offer additional services (aside from DJ Entertainment)?

With entertainment at the forefront, our in-house services include: DJs, lighting, photo booths, and limo transportation. For services we do not offer in-house, we call on trusted third party vendors who employ similar values of service, quality, and reliability. From florists and bakers to live bands, your Event Coordinator will facilitate the coordination process to find you the perfect match with every vendor. With plenty of pictures and demos of all the services we offer, we make your decision-making process easy, interactive, and fun.

Does Vision rent its sound and lighting equipment from third-party vendors?

No, Vision owns all of its sound and lighting equipment eliminating the need to rely on outsourcing while increasing our reliability and efficiency for event production. In addition, we constantly invest in the latest sound and lighting technology to ensure we have the best products available for our clients. At Vision, we believe it’s the fine details that really matter in making your experience most memorable.

Is Vision covered by liability insurance?

Vision is fully insured by the National Association of Mobile Entertainers and can provide documentation upon request.

Is Vision experienced in hosting non-traditional weddings & events?

The Vision team is composed of multi-cultural professionals, of which Event Coordinators are well-versed in many different traditions for any occasion. We also work with trusted collaborators who can assist when necessary.

What are prices for entertainment packages?

Every entertainment package is customized to include the specific services you are looking for; therefore, pricing varies significantly with the different options. Most commonly for weddings, DJ/Lighting packages can range from $1,500 to $6,000 depending on the exact services included. Your Event Coordinator will work with you to create a package that fits your entertainment vision and budget.

What are your hours of operation?

Vision is comprised of full time employees who are always accessible to respond and assist with any matter. You are provided with direct contact information for your Event Coordinator including email and cell phone numbers to ensure you never have a problem with us not responding in a timely manner via phone, email and/or text messages.

When should I get Vision involved in the planning process?

Vision’s Event Coordinators can help at any stage of the planning process; we can assist with venue selections through day-of coordination. For entertainment bookings, we encourage to start the process sooner rather than later as we book dates for DJ Entertainment well enough in advance and do not double book our entertainers.

Who will my contact person be if I work with Vision?

We assign an Event Coordinator to work with every client and event to reach the core of the client’s needs and ideal vision. By creating a relationship with an extremely enthusiastic and passionate coordinator, the planning process becomes a personal and pleasant experience. From presenting samples and demos to creating checklists and timelines, our Event Coordinator will work with the client thoroughly prior-to and on the day of the event to ensure a stress-free environment with no surprises. In addition to your Event Coordinator, the full Vision team will work together with you to produce your ideal event.
